Sobia Sheikh is a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Sobia obtained her master’s degree from D’Youville College in 2006 and has since worked in several disciplines within the scope of physiotherapy specializing in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions. She has extensive experience in providing rehabilitation for post-surgical procedures such as joint replacements and arthroscopies, ligament and tendon repairs, and spinal surgeries.
Sobia is a certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist helping women with conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, vaginismus, pelvic girdle pain, tight pelvic floor, dyspareunia, and post-partum issues including scar/pain management and weakened pelvic floor.
Sobia values a one-on-one, patient-centered approach and is focused on improving overall physical health and wellbeing.
Sobia is an ergonomic consultant and has extensive experience conducting functional assessments and workplace interventions.
